Frequently asked questions

Why do you send two postcards with every sheet?

We send two postcards so your gift wrap can be divided up for smaller gifts and you’ll still have enough postcards to explain your pre-loved gift.

Why don’t we print on fabric wraps?

While they’re reusable, fabric wraps are expensive and use a lot of resources to be made. We can’t guarantee that the wrap will be used again. We believe it’s better to use recycled paper which can reused and reused then put in the compost or recycling bin than fabric which may be stored away in a cupboard, never to see the light of day again.

Why gift wrap and not just a card?

The Gift Rebellion gift wrap has a distinctive print which signifies a pre-loved gift. The postcard is a small explanation of The Gift Rebellion while the gift wrap makes a loud statement that you’re supporting our environment. If the postcard is lost, the gift wrap will speak for itself.

Why are our sheets folded and not rolled?

Shipping is more expensive for rolled paper and shipping in a recycled paper envelope is more sustainable than shipping in a cardboard cylinder that will, at best, end up in recycling.
